Beech: is a medium-hard wood. Light yellow or pink, heartwood is light reddish brown to dark reddish brown, sapwood is white mixed with red. Beech wood has few grains but beautiful grain with mostly straight, even grain, quite tight wood surface with solid wood fibers.
